The winners of the “Watches Oscars” award have been chosen, with a wide range of pieces recognized for their engineering perfection and attractive design.
The grand prize for the best watch in the world, the Aiguille d’Or Grand Prix, was awarded to Ferdinand Berthoud’s Chronomètre Ferdinand Berthoud FB 1.
This limited-edition white gold and titanium piece, preserved for more than $ 200,000, has a leather strap and is driven by a hand-rolled movement with more than 1,120 components.
The audience prize, chosen by votes presented internationally online and at various international watch exhibitions, was awarded at the 33 bis Quai des Bergues in Czapek Genève.
Watches from the brands Audemars Piguet, Montblanc, MB&F, Piaget, TAG Heuer and Tudor, along with Chanel, Eberhard & Co, Fabergé and Grönefeld, have also been honored by this year’s international jury.
